This sauce is perfect to use when making Baked Pasta or when preparing Meatballs in tomato sauce.
I add it also to any kind of pasta and my children especially like it with rice!


Every 4-5 people

  • 500g of tomatoes passata
  • onion
  • 4 leaves of basil
  • two table spoons of Extra
    virgin olive oil
  • salt

In a saucepan put the tomatoes passata, the oil, 3 pinches of salt, the basil and the onion (do not cut the onion in pieces, it will be easier to remove).
Let it cook and stir every few minutes.
After 10 or 15 minutes remove the onion and add the sauce to your pasta.
