Ricotta Rustic Pizza
This is a delicious idea for an appetiser. Once you made it let it cool down then cut it in thin slices or cubes and serve to your guests before sitting at the table.
I personally like to prepare this recipe also as main dish for my children’s tea. In this case, naturally, the portions will be bigger.
- 1 puff pastry sheet
- 250g of ricotta cheese
- 50g of cooked ham
- 2 eggs
Roll out the pastry on a baking pan and create an edge at the sides.
Prick the pastry with a fork.
In a food processor mix the ricotta, the ham and the eggs until nice and creamy and adjust with salt.
Pour this ricotta cream in the baking pan and cook it in a preheated oven at 180° for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
