Homemade pizza is the perfect way to bring the family together.
Of course once you have made your pizza dough what to put on it is absolutely up to you.
Today I have decided to make just one big pizza, see if you prefere it this way.

  • 300g of strong white flour
  • 1 tea spoon of dry yeast
  • 1 tea spoon of salt
  • 1 tea spoon of sugar
  • 20ml of extra virgin olive oil
  • 190ml of warm water
  • 200g of smooth tomatoes
    passata
  • 250g of mozzarella

For the dough put flour, yeast, salt, sugar, olive oil in a bowl.
Using your hands and adding slowly the water mix all the ingredients together until you obtain a soft and smooth dough (if too dry add more water, if too sticky add more flour).
Lay it (stretching it a little) on a baking oven tray coated with a drizzle of olive oil.
Cover and let the dough rise for a couple of hours or until has doubled in size and then with your hands stretch it to the edges of the tray.
Cover the dough with a layer of tomatoes passata and then add the mozzarella previously diced.
Salt to your taste and add a drizzle of olive oil on the top of everything.
Bake at 250°for 15-20 minutes.
