This rice is usually used served with meat, fish or vegetables dishes.
My recipe for the Pilaf rice is simple and healthy.
The secret is to stick to the proportion that is: 1 unit of rice and 2 units of broth.
Every 4 people
- 1 cup of rice parboiled
- 2 cups of water
- 1 vegetable stock cube
- 50g butter
Melt the butter in a Pyrex , add a cup of rice and mix together.
At the same time prepare the broth with two cups of water and the stock in a pan.
When ready add the broth to the rice in the Pyrex and stir thoroughly.
Cover and put the Pyrex in the oven at 180° for about 20 minutes.
If you want, when the rice is ready, you can add to it a little bit of extra butter and stir again.
