I know …I know…nutella again!....it is just that all my family loves it! This delicious pastry is really the best treat you can get, literally mouth watering.
Making this recipe is very simple the secret is never give up when mixing the ingredients for the sweet pastry, also when it will seem you will never achieve the final result, keep going end absolutely do not add water, you will be surprised how suddenly a nice and soft ball will appear in front of your eyes!
- 200g of plain flour
- 100g of caster sugar
- 100g of butter (softened)
- 2 eggs ‘yolks
- 200g of nutella
In a bowl put the butter the sugar and the eggs’ yolks. Using your hands mix the ingredients and slowly add the flour.
Never add water! And work until you will obtain a nice and soft ball.
On a slightly greased oven tray place a layer of your sweet pastry and shape the edges (just use ¾ of the pastry).
Cover with the nutella (it is up to you to decide how thick to make this layer) .
With the remaining of the pastry make some rolled stripes and place them on the nutella (see photos).
Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
