Pastry Fagottini

How many things you can do with the Puff Pastry! This is only one of thousands!
These Fagottini are perfect as appetizer to serve to your guests before sitting down at the table.

Every 4-6 people:

  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 70g salami milano
  • 70g mild cheddar

Grate the cheddar and cut the salami in little pieces.
Make the puff pastry sheet a little thinner with the help of a rolling pin (if the pastry is very sticky sprinkle it with a little of flour but not too much otherwise you will not be able to close your fagottini).
Cut the pastry in pieces with the help of a round cutter of about 7 cm of diameter.
Put in the middle of every circle some of the grated cheddar together with the salami and close sealing the edges well.
Put your Fagottini on an oven tray and cook them in a preheated oven at 180 for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm or cold.
