Meatballs

My recipe for meatballs is a garanteed success with adult and children! My son and daughter have eaten this dish counteless times and their friends simply love it.
Meatballs are good hot or cold, for this reason you can prepare them in advance and serve when required.
Try this dish, you will not be disappointed!

Every 4 people

  • 500g of minced beef
  • 1 egg
  • 4 slices of thick sandwich bread
  • salt
  • vegetable oil

First remove the crust from the bread slices, and soak them in a bowl with water.
In a second bowl place the meat, the egg and add 3 pinches of salt.
Using your hands squeeze the bred, add it to the others ingredients and mix everything until  nice and smooth.
At this point you can start making your meatballs with the palms of your hands.
I prefere not to make them perfectly round but squash them a little bit, it will be easier cooking them.
In a frying pan put some vegetable oil (not too much!) and when hot place the meatballs in it, let cook and turn them in order to fry both sides.
When ready put them on a plate with kitchen paper to absorbe some oil.
