Classic Tomatoes Sauce
Simple and tasty this sauce is a classic of the Mediterranean cuisine a perfect match with any kind of pasta.
Just right for children's tea or a family meal.
If you prefer use the Chopped Tomatoes Plums, in this case you will not need to make them smoother.
Every 4 people
- 1 and ½ of plum tomatoes
- Extra virgin olive Oil
- 1 clove of garlic (peeled)
- 4 leaves of basil
In a saucepan start frying the clove of garlic with 2 tablespoons of olive oil until the garlic is golden brown and then remove it.
Add the plum tomatoes,squash them a little bit with a wooden spoon or,if you prefere,previously make them smoother with the help of a mixer.
Add the washed basil and 3 pinches of salt
Stir every few minutes
Leave the sauce cooking until it becomes thicker.
