Bruschetta for me means sunny days and BBQ in the garden, but this great appetiser is the perfect start also for indoor dinners and brings joy to the table.
- 8 thick slices of rustic bread
- 6 salad tomatoes
- 1 clove of garlic (peeled and
- extra virgin olive oil
- 2 leaves of basil (washed and
chopped) or two tea spoons
Cut the tomatoes in little cubes and put them into a bowl.
Add the garlic, the basil or the oregano and salt to your taste.
Pour in the bowl abundant olive oil to almost cover the tomatoes and let everything marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Chargrill the slices of bread on both sides on a griddle or grill, lay on them the marinated tomatoes and serve.
