This dish is one of my favourite and my children love it!
It is very easy to make and will represent the main dish of your dinner.
After this I would just offer a salad or for the most greedy a tray with cheese.
Every 4 people
- 400gr rigatoni pasta
- 500g of tomatoes passata
- 50g of butter
- 2 table spoon of extra vergin
- 250g of mozzarella
- 4 leaves of basil
In a saucepan start cooking the tomatoes passata with the butter the oil the basil and two pinches of salt.
Boil the pasta in salted water and when ready drain it.
Mix straight away the pasta with the tomatoes sauce.
In a deep oven proof tray put half of the pasta, then a layer of mozzarella previously diced.
Then on top of all add the second layer of pasta.
Cover with kitchen foil and put in a preheated oven at 200° for 30 minutes.
At this point you can remove the kitchen foil and leave the pasta in the oven for other 10 minutes.
Serve straight away.
